Arteventura award and Hybrid Art Fair

Arteventura is pleased to collaborate with Hybrid Art Fair.
During the Hybrid Art Fair, arteventura we gave an award – a residency – to a participating artist.
We are delighted to welcome Paula Valdeon as the selected artis.

Hybrid Art Fair is a dynamic event offering an atypical exhibition programme based on experimental practices and site-specific projects. The fair offers a range of local and international independent proposals and is a recognised springboard for emerging artists.

The exhibition is located in a special setting, the rooms of a hotel. This, combined with the fair’s transdisciplinary artistic programme, creates a different and unique experience for visitors, with direct contact with artists and immersive curatorial projects. We will also be on site and invited artist Marius Ritiu. Participation is open to all artists in Hybrid Art Fair’s general exhibitor program.

The award includes:

• A two-week residency for an individual artist from December 1-15, 2023.
• Travel expenses.
• Specific visits from curators and professionals during the residency.
• Possibility of an exhibition (open studio) at the end of the residency.
